The Opportunity
Implement all requests and control all process equipment within the plant facility including but not limited to: Wastewater, Tank Bottoms, Oil, and Dehydrator process as well as steam boiler maintenance and efficiency. This position will manage all inventory controls for the above processes.
Key Job Responsibilities
•Continuous process operations Help keep systems online and operational including boiler systems, oil process systems, tank bottom process systems and wastewater process systems.
•Manage inventory to ensure the quality and consistency of all finished products.
•Transfer tanks as directed by the Plant Production Manager for processing.
•Maintain process areas to ensure quality products, efficient processing, and a professional appearance.
•Always maintain clean work area to ensure plant operations and the facility are always prepared for environmental inspections/audits.
•Ensure that daily discharge complies with applicable discharge location permits. (Saraland & MAWSS Mobile)
•Assist the Manager in maintaining plant supplies and repair parts so that efficiencies can be achieved.
•Work with plant management to plan and implement process production schedules to achieve high quality and efficiency.
•Adhere to all regulations, standards, and internal policies, to ensure Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance and promote a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.
•Communicate effectively across teams.
•Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
•High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
•One to Three months of related experience and/or training preferred
•Experience working an in industrial environment is preferred.
•Ability to work the schedule for which you are hired for
•Ability to work on-site as described in the job description
•Ability to read, write, and understand English
