The Wastewater Operator plays a crucial role in the efficient and safe operation of wastewater treatment facilities. Candidates must have a current TCEQ issued Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators License of class "D" or above to be considered.
This employment opportunity is in the Kaufman County area. This position will be self supervised.
The candidate should have prior experience in wastewater treatment or a related field, with a strong understanding of water treatment processes. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is essential, along with experience in maintaining logic controllers and distributed control systems. A background in plumbing is advantageous but not required. The ability to perform basic math calculations is necessary for effective job performance, along with a willingness to engage in physical labor involving heavy lifting when needed.
