SUMMARY: Relevant Power Solutions (RPS) is a diversified power company with extensive experience with aero-derivative gas turbines. At our manufacturing facility in Houston, we design, build, and test gas turbine packages for use in the power generation and gas compression markets. In addition to packaging, we also provide Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) services, integrating gas turbine packages with Balance of Plant (BOP) equipment, to provide a turnkey power plant solution. We are seeking a Warranty Manager to join the RPS team and make an immediate impact and play a crucial role in both packaging and EPC projects.
- Creation and maintenance of project documents/templates
- Involved in the creation, modification, implementation, and training on ISO procedures
- Supports customers through the warranty phase of a project.
- Responsible for scheduling and forecasting resources, related to project warranties. This includes any RPS personnel and vendor support required.
- Evaluates trends of warranty claims, to understand root cause of issues
- Coordinates with RPS engineering, if technical support is needed for a warranty claim.
- Coordinates with RPS supply chain, if materials are needed for a warranty claim.
- Provides recommended product improvements, as a result of warranty claims.
- Involved in the Product Bulletin process
- Responsible for maintaining list of warranty timelines on all projects.
- Monitors warranty periods from our suppliers on major items (ie gas turbines, generators) to understand gaps in warranty coverage.
- Responsible for the warranty budget on projects and products.
- Involved in the stocking of spare parts.
- Responsible for notifying RPS personnel of the start and end of a project warranty
- Involved in forward thinking related to execution of warranty items.
- Participates in the lessons learned process, during closeout of a project
- Involved in project execution metrics in support of the weekly project meeting
- Involved in updating the project financials, to account for warranty items.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical or Electrical is preferred)
- Experience with gas turbine technology and applications is preferred.
- Experience with ERP software
- Computer skills: Microsoft Office, Outlook, AutoCAD, or similar software.
