Manufacturing unique heat resistant alloys and high nickel/chrome alloys primarily for the petrochemical industries, Kubota leads the industry in quality and advanced technology.
Key Function: Responsible for the operation of the Customer Service department in alignment with the business objectives for Kubota Materials Canada Corporation.
- Coordinate and monitor the status of all quotations through consultation with Sales Managers and Representatives
- Lead quotation process for orders, and communicate with customers where required.
- Manage external customer information exchange, including management of document control and internal approvals for orders
- Coordinate quotations involving co-work with other Kubota manufacturing facilities
- Work with Customer Service Coordinator to prepare and maintain proper work instructions
- Conduct and analyze Customer Feedback Surveys
- Develop annual departmental budgets and assume fiscal accountability of the section
- Manage goals and objectives for Information & Technology to ensure alignment with the overall Vice President, Finance & Information Technology goals
- Support Kubota Global Identity, with the Brand and Spirit statements of Kubota Materials Canada Corporation
- Represent the department in meetings, as requested
- Other related duties, as required
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited university
- Formal commercial training or certification preferred
- Minimum 8 years of experience in sales or order administration within a manufacturing environment
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership role
- Project Management experience preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of trade terms, cost estimating, and business practices
- Knowledge of the heat resistant case steel business, markets and products
- Conciliatory communication skills while engaging customers using tact and discretion
- Ability to interpret blueprint and layout drawings
- Basic knowledge of machining, welding and fabrication
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
