Overview: We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Technician to join our team. The Warehouse Technician will be responsible for loading and unloading merchandise, organizing inventory, and maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment. This role involves physical labor, operating equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks, and ensuring timely and accurate handling of goods to support efficient warehouse operations.
•Loading and unloading: Load and unload trucks, trailers, or containers with goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
•Inventory Management: Organize and store products in designated areas, following inventory control procedures.
•Order Picking and Packing: Retrieve items from shelves based on order lists, pack goods securely, and prepare them for shipment.
•Equipment Operations: Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, palletjacks, or hand trucks
•Quality control: Inspect goods for damage or defects and report discrepancies tosupervisors.
•Safety Compliance: Adhere to workplace safety standards, including proper lifting techniques and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
•Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, including sweeping floors and disposing of packing materials.
•Documentation: Complete basic paperwork or use warehouse management systems to track inventory and shipments.
•Team collaboration: Work with team members to meet deadlines and ensure smooth warehouse operations.
•Ability to lift up to 80ibs, stand for extended periods and work in varying temperatures/outdoor conditions.
•Knowledge of safety procedures, especially for handling flammable or hazardous materials.
