QSSI's PEMCO Lighting Division in Wilmington, DE is seeking a dedicated Production/Warehouse Associate to contribute to our fast-paced and innovative environment. As a key team member, you will be crucial in assembling and inspecting lighting products, ensuring adherence to safety guidelines, and maintaining efficient production processes.
- Receive orders, selection/production/ order fulfillment with FIFO methods/processes, and shipping (labels and methods).
- Assemble for accurate shipping.
- Starts assembly and production machinery at the beginning of the shift.
- Deburr: Deburring of aluminum parts and castings.
- Packaging: Wrapping poles for shipment.
- Monitors equipment to ensure that products are being assembled correctly.
- Make sure that the workstation is clean and free of hazardous materials.
- Assembles product parts by hand, using power tools to solder, weld, drill, and attach parts.
- Observe and remove faulty product parts from the assembly line.
- Inspects assembled products to ensure they are up to quality standards.
- Affixes labels, company logos, and other exterior details to products.
- Packs up completed products and prepares them for shipment.
- Unloads, organizes, and stocks shipments.
Adheres to all safety guidelines dictating the production and handling of materials in the factory
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
- Full-time position, Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Unpaid 30-minute lunch break and two 15-minute breaks provided based on business needs.
- No travel required for this position.
- Warehouse setting with moderate to heavy physical activity.
- Handling of fragile products may be required.
