Warehouse Assistant

Job description

We are looking for an effective Warehouse Assistant to work closely with Division Manager to oversee hand tool inventory, hand tool assignment, general equipment repair and maintenance. This job may require some traveling; bringing equipment and materials to and from technicians in the field.

Ultimately, you should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.

Key Responsibilities

1. Monitors & reports on the condition of all company equipment and part inventory within the warehouse.

2. Obtains quotes from various vendors to provide for timely cost-effective repair and inventory.

3. Responsible for cleaning & general upkeep of warehouse space and keeping an orderly work area.

4. Reports any abuse of company equipment or vehicles to accounts with cost for repair or replacement to appropriate parties (IE; management).
