RK Electric Inc. is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant + Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will exhibit a strong work ethic, meticulous attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit as they work alongside our Purchasing and Logistics team and other professionals in a dynamic, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities

•

Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.

•

Operate in various weather conditions (including heat and cold) with safety as the utmost priority.

•

Adhere to all state and national safety regulations and standards.

•

Safely operate and maintain company vehicles and equipment.

•

Communicate and collaborate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.

•

Transport materials and tools to and from job sites and vendors.

•

Maintain accurate records of mileage and vehicle maintenance.

•

Keep company vehicles clean and well-maintained.

•

Complete necessary documentation such as logs, mileage reports, and cargo records.

•

Assist in loading and unloading vehicles.

•

Receive, process, and store materials, reporting any discrepancies as necessary.

•

Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.

•

Follow and comply with all company procedures, rules, and regulations.

Qualifications

•

Professionalism and commitment to upholding high-quality standards in work performance.

•

Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules, including the possibility of overtime or weekend shifts.

•

Strong organizational and time management skills.

•

Ability to lift and move heavy objects, weighing 50 pounds or more, using proper techniques or equipment.

•

Physical ability to reach, stretch, bend, and sit for extended periods during daily tasks.

•

Previous professional driving experience preferred.

•

Current forklift license or experience operating a forklift is advantageous.

•

Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems is a plus.

Requirements

•

High school diploma or equivalent.

•

Must be 21 years or older.

•

Clean driving record.

•

Willingness to undergo a pre-employment background check and drug test.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
