ABOUT THE POSITION
The Vice President, Global Sales Transformation will lead Fluence’s global sales transformation agenda to enable scalable growth, operational excellence, and commercial competitiveness. This role will design and implement future-state sales systems, processes, and talent strategies aligned with Fluence’s go-to-market priorities to accelerate revenue performance across all regions. This role operates on a truly global scale and requires 50–60% international travel to engage directly with regional and functional stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Transformation Strategy & Leadership
- Define and execute a multi-phase sales transformation roadmap aligned with Fluence’s FY25–FY27 growth objectives.
- Partner with ELT and regional commercial leaders to harmonize global sales processes, governance models, and performance standards.
- Drive full utilization and optimization of Salesforce CRM and Turbo configurator platforms.
- Oversee the design and establishment of a global Revenue Operations (RevOps) function, including analytics, forecasting, and reporting capabilities.
- Implement a unified global sales archetype and deal governance framework.
- Standardize stage gates, approval workflows, and forecasting methodologies across all regions
- Deploy probability-based forecasting models and enforce pipeline hygiene standards.
Strengthen alignment between sales, supply chain, and operations through integrated planning tools and cadence meetings.
- Simplify incentive structures to quarterly revenue-based payouts to promote a performance-driven culture.
- Align compensation models with margin improvement, growth KPIs, and organizational objectives.
- Design seamless sales-to-delivery handoff processes and define upsell/expansion motions for key accounts.
- o Embed customer health scoring, executive sponsor programs, and account growth plans for strategic customers.
- Establish a Sales Transformation PMO with defined KPIs, reporting cadence, and accountability mechanisms.
- Communicate milestones, wins, and progress to drive adoption and reinforce cultural alignment across teams.- 12+ years of commercial leadership experience with proven success in sales transformation, revenue operations, or go-to-market enablement.
- Demonstrated expertise in CRM optimization, process standardization, and global sales enablement.
- Strong background in incentive design, forecasting, and pipeline management.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders across geographies.
- Experience in energy, renewables, or complex B2B solution environments preferred.
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree desirable.
