Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role RNWBL is seeking a skilled Utility Solar Technician II’s to join our traveling team. This is a field role focused on DC system health, module replacements, tracker repairs, and other maintenance activities on utility-scale solar facilities. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our clients’ solar assets perform safely, efficiently, and reliably. This is located in Tonopah, AZ. RNWBL offers a relocation assistance package if interested in this position.

What You’ll Do:

- Inspect and troubleshoot DC systems, combiner boxes, and string performance (Must be able to use a meter

- Perform module swaps and replacements in accordance with site standards

- Diagnose and repair tracker system components (gearboxes, actuators, drives, motors, etc.)

- Support both corrective and preventative maintenance across PV systems and BOS equipment

- Document work performed and maintain compliance with safety standards (OSHA, NEC, NFPA 70E)

- Collaborate with peers, site leads, and clients to ensure project success

What We’re Looking For

- 2–4 years’ experience in utility-scale solar PV or related electrical/mechanical field

- Knowledge of DC systems, PV modules, and tracker mechanisms

- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and OEM manuals

- Willingness to travel

- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Preferred:

- OSHA 30, NFPA 70E, or equivalent safety certifications

- NABCEP Associate or NCCER certification

- Familiarity with inverter troubleshooting and SCADA/monitoring systems

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
