Job Summary

The Field Service Technician Level 4 provides field technical service and support, including installation, startup, repairs, and maintenance of water and wastewater equipment globally. Responsibilities include field repairs, process improvements & monitoring, data analysis, operational decision-making, client communications, and leading technical solutions.


Requirements

Recommend and implement EHS initiatives and maintain a safe work environment.
Support operations to ensure 100% reliability of production quantity and quality.
Perform field service installation, startup, repairs, and maintenance of equipment.
Provide technical consultation and training to on-site personnel.
Act as a liaison between operations, contractors, engineering, and management.
Drive project execution and provide ongoing training to operators.
Maintain continuing education and develop troubleshooting skills.


Key Skills And Qualifications

Mechanical and electrical skills, problem-solving ability, and adaptability.
Process understanding for relevant technologies.
Operational problem-solving skills and ability to operate SSW facilities.
Ability to align pumps and motors.
Troubleshoot electrical equipment up to 690V.
Rebuild pumps & motors.
Calibrate instrumentation.
Ability to travel (minimum 50%) and work according to a changing schedule including weekends, holidays, and for extended periods as needed.
Valid passport and driver’s license.
Willingness and ability to travel to other countries.
Self-motivated team player with excellent time management and communication skills.
Physically fit and able to work with heavy components.
Drive for continued education through formal and informal means.
Commitment to go above and beyond to ensure operational success.
Skilled in using computers and Microsoft Office.
Fluent in English; basic Spanish is a plus.


Education And Experience

High school diploma (or GED), Trade School, or relevant experience.
5-8 years of experience as a field service technician with relevant technologies.
Relevant technical certificates.
