Field Service Technician

Job Summary:
We are looking for candidates who are reliable/trustworthy. Individuals with experience in servicing and maintaining trailer houses. Responsible for servicing job site locations, rigging up or down a location, and moving equipment from one site to another. Yard or shop duties include repair and maintenance of equipment and stocking houses to suit the customer.
Essential Functions:
•
Report to work with a willingness to perform any and all assigned service calls.
•
Follow safe work practices, procedures, and rules. Safety is a major part of our work every day.
•
Perform any related maintenance duties on trailer houses, including plumbing, electrical, and woodcraft.
•
Perform and manage assigned service calls effectively.
•
Help your fellow crew members if your job duties are completed.
•
Diagnose errors or technical problems, determine proper solutions, and document these processes.
•
Produce timely and detailed service reports.
•
Operate a vehicle safely.
•
Build positive relationships with customers.
•
Always maintain a professional attitude.
Additional Functions:
•
Other duties as assigned by management
•
40% Travel time required
•
Mechanically inclined on basic equipment upkeep
•
Carpentry skills, plumbing skills, and electrical skills
•
AC/DC power knowledge
•
Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
•
6 months in the related field minimum
•
Field service experience preferred
•
Pass a drug screen and background check
•
Clear Motor Vehicle report
•
Familiarity with mobile tools and applications
•
Must be able to read, write, and speak in English
•
Ability to take directions by phone
•
Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules
