Hours: 11:00 pm - 8:30 am Monday - Friday
Pay: $26.03 an hour
Martin Marietta is currently looking for Plant Utility for our underground mine in Randolph, Missouri. This position is responsible for assisting with plant clean-up and providing support for crushing operations.
Essential Functions
•
Participate in safety programs and trainings, promoting Martin Marietta’s Guardian Angel culture
•
Operate skid steer to facilitate plant clean-up
•
Inspect equipment for signs of wear
•
Monitoring processes, materials and surroundings
•
Tend to equipment such as conveyors to move materials through production processes
•
Perform basic maintenance on heavy mobile equipment
•
Operator haul truck to assist with plant operations
•
Work in a team environment
•
Clean work areas
•
Proper wear of personal protective equipment
•
Notify supervisors of needed repairs
•
Manage multiple tasks and prioritizing for production needs
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position and will require 40+ hours per week.
Preferred Education and Experience
•
High school diploma or equivalent
•
Heavy equipment operations or military experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
•
Ability to work with minimal supervision
•
Knowledge of MSHA regulations
•
Effective written and verbal communication
•
Knowledge of machines and tools including their design, use and maintenance
Physical Abilities
•
Ability to work in an outdoor environment year-round
•
Ability to work in elevated areas
•
General physical activities including climbing stairs, lifting, pushing, pulling, stooping and handling materials
