Job Summary
The Turnaround Manager utilizes the Turnaround (TA) Management Strategy to lead the TA steering teams (cross functional leadership teams) and core teams (do work teams) to appropriately staff and ensure timely completion of all critical deliverables needed for the success of turnarounds. Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and basic knowledge of related job disciplines. This TA Manager works in conjunction with the Maintenance Superintendents, Operations Managers, Discipline and Reliability Engineering Leads, O&M Coordinator, and Vendor Continued Service Agreement (CSA) Support Team to develop the schedule and cost for each turnaround. This role manages the planning for fixed and rotating equipment such as compressors, pumps, turbines, vessels, etc.
Location/Travel Information
This position will be based at the Terminal Facility, LQF or PTF, with travel to off-site locations as required. This position requires the incumbent to hold a valid, unexpired driver license at all times in order to perform the essential functions of the job.
Duties/Responsibilities
•Responsible for ensuring all work is executed in compliance with client and company quality control and Lead all Turnaround activities with focus on personal safety, environmental stewardship, and quality
•Responsible for managing the planning and execution of turnarounds
•Lead the Turnaround Scope Development and Planning team

•Partner with Vendor CSA Support Team to incorporate equipment specific requirements
•Assist with development and optimization of turnaround schedule
•Provide updates during turnaround execution
•Document lessons learned and present for future improvements
•Collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure Turnaround scope is defined clearly
•Manage contract resources required for Turnaround
•Ensure all parts and material are identified and ordered based on lead times
•Lead risk reviews for applicable work
•Completes assigned Service Entry Sheets in a timely manner for accounting close-out.
•Coaches, trains and develops team to optimize their performance
•Responsible for the integration of reliability, maintenance, inspection and capital work items
•Participates with regulatory and safety plan development and execution
•Analyzes performance deficiencies during a turnaround and drives improvements.
•Must be able to work extensive hours during turnarounds including weekends and holidays
•Other duties as assigned and deemed necessary by the Senior Manager, Turnarounds and Events

Essential Functions
•Leads core TA team to ensure effective work coordination, planning, scheduling, cost management, and material management.
•Leads TA Steering team to align operations, projects, maintenance, and Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) functions.
•Develops and maintains the turnaround schedules and turnaround budgets.
•Coordinates site integration and resource issues through Operations and the Senior Manager Turnarounds and Events.
•Controls the cost and timing of the turnaround to meet the business and site needs.
•Defines work list by freeze date; enforces administrative controls for add-ons after freeze date.
•Develops critical path - integrate operations, projects, and maintenance activities and optimize.
•Manages issues during execution to achieve all business goals.
•Identifies opportunities for frequency extension between turnarounds.
•Prepares and communicates closure reports. Ensures plans are updated and archived for future TA’s.
•Extensive knowledge of turnaround and outage methodology, planning, and execution
•Coordination of contractors performing duties for specific planned tasks during the turnaround.
•Ability to identify turnaround scopes to be performed and develop timeline for scheduling
•Ability to provide scopes of work and submit RFQ packages for turnarounds and large projects.
•Knowledge of Primavera P6 Scheduling software.
•Knowledge of cost tracking and assisting in budgetary processes.
Minimum Qualification/Work ExperienceMinimum Required:
•Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Turnaround Manager role in the LNG, Chemical or Refining Industry.
•Excellent leadership and organization skills.
•Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and SAP Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Preferred:
•Ten (10) or more years of Turnaround Manager role in the LNG, Chemical or Refining Industry
•Associates/Tech/Bachelors Degree
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities•Highly effective verbal and written communication skills including the ability to prepare reports and make presentations.
•Must have good prioritization skills with ability to work many different projects at the same time.
•Must be a self-starter, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
•Basic First Aid, permit to work, Incident reporting, Accident Investigation, Confined Space Entry, Emergency Response Plan, SDS.
HSE Roles and ResponsibilitiesSupport the policies, efforts, and programs of Freeport LNG Health, Safety and Environmental Management System. Assist in the development of action plans and objectives. Actively participate in the HSE Management System Policies. Ensure that HSE concerns are given priority in all activities completed within their area of responsibility. Implement routine inspections to ensure safe operating conditions.

Working Conditions:
This position operates in an office environment. However, while performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to operate within an industrial plant environment.
•Routinely uses standard office and field communications equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers w/scanner and fax, and radios.
•Exposure to indoor and outdoor weather conditions.
•Not necessarily protected from weather and temperature changes. Possible exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid or windy weather conditions.
•Exposure to moving mechanical parts and electrical circuits, being exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
•Exposure to constant, or intermittent sounds of a pitch level sufficient to cause marked distraction.
