Turnaround Execution Coordinator

WestCorp Solutions is seeking several Turnaround Execution Coordinators to support our client in Fort McMurray, AB. This position supports the safe and efficient execution of turnaround activities by coordinating daily field operations. This is a contract position anticipated to run through to the end of the client’s 2026 turnaround event. This position works Monday – Thursday, 10-hour days and is ideal for candidates local to Fort McMurray or for those looking to participate in fly-in, fly-out from Edmonton or Calgary.

Key Responsibilities

- Assisting in step listing preparation, ensuring accurate estimates of resources.

- Collaborating with the Planning Team to develop work packages for consistent execution.

- Partnering with contractors for clear work scope and readiness.

- Aligning schedules with execution strategy and staffing.

- Optimizing execution for safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

- Identify and escalate issues that may impact scope, schedule, or quality.

- Verifying daily headcounts and Contractor Daily Reports.

- Monitoring leading indicators and KPIs.

- Collaborating with various functional groups.

- Facilitating contractor readiness in kick-off meetings.

- Validating material correctness and completeness.

- Ensure adherence to client policies, permitting processes, and site safety procedures.

Qualifications

- Journeyman Certification or equivalent

- Must have previous experience as a Turnaround Execution Coordinator

- Previous experience as a Turnaround Planner is considered an asset

- Experience with Maximo (or equivalent CMMS), Primavera, and MS Project is considered an asset.

- Excellent communication and analytical skills

- Highly motivated, intuitive, and self-managed
