Tube Roller / Installer

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tube Roller for our Day Shift team. The ideal candidate will assist in job activities in the VESSELS / STRUCTURE / BOILER / PIPE departments under the supervision of the Production Supervisor or departmental lead.

Responsibilities

- Participate in pre-and post-planned readiness of parts and tools, for planned maintenance activities.

- Participate in cleaning and grinding and installation of component parts for departmental related units (ex: cleaning and grinding of tubes) as directed by departmental lead.

- Participate in housekeeping activities as directed by Production Supervisor or departmental lead

- Participate in regard to installation activities of components as directed by Production Supervisor or departmental lead.

- Complete knowledge of departmental safety policies (EX: PROPER USE OF HAND TOOLS AND THE PURPOSE OF SAFETY DEVICES).

Qualifications

- Ability to safely work in confined spaces. Must not be claustrophobic

- Must be able to stand 10 or more hours per day and operate a variety of hand tools both powered and manual.

- Position requires standing or walking throughout the workday and frequently involves stooping and kneeling.

- Must possess sufficient visual acuity and depth perception to complete job tasks.

- Must be able to tolerate shop environment and exposures associated with confined space entry and industrial boiler manufacturing and apply appropriate safety equipment when required.

- Must be able to lift/maneuver 75lbs. unassisted using proper safety techniques and/or equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
