- Safely operate a truck (manual or automatic transmission) to transport goods
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Plan efficient routes and adapt to schedule or road changes using GPS and navigation tools
- Load, secure, and assist with unloading cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers about routes, deliveries, and any issues
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage, fuel consumption, and related paperwork
- Interact professionally with customers during pick-ups and deliveries
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
- Manage time to meet delivery schedules and complete assigned tasks
- Assist crew with groundwork functions
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) – required for most positions
- Proficiency in operating manual and/or automatic trucks
- Strong navigation and route planning abilities
- Clear and professional communication skills
- High attention to detail in cargo handling and documentation
