Truck Driver

Qualifications

· Class CDL truck drivers license with tanker and HAZMAT endorsement required

-> Must have tanker endorsement obtained or be willing to obtain.

-> We have standard transmissions. No automatic driving.

· Must have high awareness for safety at all times

· Sit and drive for up to 10 hours, and climb in and out of truck cab throughout shift

· Minimum 6 months of driving experience

Driver will be driving regional but no nights

Duties and Responsibilities

· Verify shipping/delivery documents and maintain DOT logbook

· Perform vehicle and cargo inspection

· Transport materials, tools, equipment, and supplies to and from work locations and warehouses

· Observe and follow all safety rules, traffic regulations, and operating procedures, including wearing required personal protective equipment and reporting delays or accidents

· Alert a supervisor or manager of any safety issues

· Maintain vehicle in a safe and clean condition

· Maintain vehicle log and submit daily vehicle deficiencies to supervisor

· Follow DOT, local and state driving laws and road regulations
