In this role, you will interact with customers, sales and warehouse employees. You will utilize your critical thinking skills to ensure orders are tracked and paperwork flow is managed effectively. - Experience working with dimensional loads.
- Experience loading, strapping and driving trailers, including:
o Ability to safety maneuver and reverse well in narrowed spaces
o Performing daily vehicle inspections and keeping up with engine service /monitoring upcoming maintenance
- Knowledge of Commercial Vehicles Regulations including spacing of straps, front/rear overhang, load limitations
- Experience driving heavy flat decks/commercial trucks.
- Experience loading and delivering commodities.

- Good understanding of local roadways and commercial truck routes
- Ability to configure loads so deliveries are efficient and in order.
- Excellent time management skills- You have 1+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Responsible for pre-trip inspections and en route inspections of truck and product
- Delivers and picks up product as required by assigned route, ensuring effective and efficient fulfillment of daily tasks.
- Responsible for loading and unloading deliveries according to prescribed procedures.
- Maintain and update all records/paperwork from deliveries and dispatch according to Company standards.
- Ensures effective communication is maintained with Shipping/Receiving coordinator concerning delivery status, issues with delivery or any changes.
- Responsible for all purchases made on fuel cards.
- Maintaining vehicle cleanliness
- Ability to operate a forklist as assistance may be required in loading
· May on occasion work outside of standard office hours at various times, as the job requires.
· Provide copies of current Class 1 License or Equivalent
· Pass a criminal background check
