Transload Operator

Our head office is located in Saskatoon, SK and we have operating plants in Rocanville, SK, Vanscoy, SK and Brooks, AB. We have a packaging plant just outside of Saskatoon, SK and bulk inventory storage in Alberta and Manitoba. Along with our focus on safety and the environment, we have a dedicated employee base, solid logistics network and a committed customer base.

We are looking for a Transload Operator at our Fort Saskatchewan facility which is located in the Sturgeon Industrial Park, north of Fort Saskatchewan.

The Transload Operator is responsible for operating heavy equipment onside including wheel loader, skid steer, railcar mover or working on an Aerial Work Platform (AWP). In addition, the position will operate rail equipment, including but not limited to rail switches, rail spur line and transload conveyance system. This position operates all equipment in a safe manner and in accordance with policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

Requirements

- Previous experience working in a heavy industrial environment operating heavy equipment or rail equipment

- Flexible mentality - ability to operate as well as assist in other areas, such as yard and facilities housekeeping duties

- Ability to work safely and in accordance with SOPs

- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

- Valid drivers license with reliable transportation to and from site
