As a Loader operator you will report to the Facility Manager. You will be responsible for safe and efficient operation of the front-end loader on a day-to-day basis. You will be required to know and understand our AEP requirements regarding material leaving site. You will be required to perform daily maintenance and minor repairs unsupervised. Regularly enter tight 3 sided bins. Attention to surroundings is a must.
You will ensure material is as dry as possible and consistent everyday. You will perform daily walkarounds and check lists and provide manager details on aggregate bin levels.
As you progress through our safety management program (online training, competency exams, policies, and procedures) and demonstrate knowledge of your current role and responsibilities, you will be eligible for promotion and/or additional compensation.
Some of these tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Clocking in/out on time.
- Always fit for duty.
- Daily walkarounds and checklists.
- Performing daily maintenance and informing manager of repairs needed.
- Notify facility manager of any defects or hazards.
- Executing and documenting minor maintenance without being supervised.
- Safe Loader operations (fixing ramps, yard maintenance, clearing bins).
- Loading trucks in a safe manner.
- Keeping machine clean.
- Good communication with employees.
- Identifying potential risks and hazards.
- Providing a safe work environment for all employees.
- Assisting Managers to ensure after hour customer emergencies are being managed efficiently (working occasional weekends and night shifts).
- Will have to work on the facility when needed. (Ex: washing out hydro-vacs, washing hydro-vac slurry)
Qualifications
- Previous experience in heavy equipment operation preferred.
-Knowledge of Centrifuges, shakers, pumps and other oil field equipment an asset.
