Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Trades Trainee located in Houston, TX. The Trades Trainee will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of backup power systems including generators and battery storage units. General construction will apply. Daily tasks will include learning to perform diagnostics, carrying out routine maintenance, and supporting senior technicians with complex installations. The role involves hands-on training and offers the opportunity to grow within the company’s technical team.

Qualifications

- Basic understanding of electrical systems and mechanical knowledge

- Willingness to learn, strong problem-solving skills, and attention to detail

- Good communication and teamwork abilities

- Physically fit and able to handle the demands of on-site work

- Ability to work independently and follow safety protocols

- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in a related field is a plus

- Previous experience in the trades or energy sector is beneficial but not required

- Fluent in Spanish and English is a must
