We also manufacture and refurbish cutting tools. We sell tool sharpening, tool sales, power equipment, abrasives, custom band saw blades and much more. Bandsaw Welder Trainee

Job Description: Cut, weld, grind, custom band saw blades

Job Duties, Responsibilities and Abilities

- Welding experience not required

- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, work orders and specifications

- Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form

- Ability to use basic hand tools including precision measuring equipment

- Must contribute to a positive work environment

- Performs any task required to support customer requirements and company goals

- Must have good hand eye coordination

- Must be able to stand 8 hours a day and occasional overtime required

- Ability to lift 25 lbs. multiple times a day and/or occasionally lift and move more than 50 pounds

- Repetitive type of work

- Fast- pace environment

- On the job training

- Able to read a tape measure

- Mechanically inclined

- Energetic- Self-starter- Positive attitude

- General shop helper and an opportunity to learn shop skills (brazing, tool grinding, and much more)

Hours

- Monday- Friday 5:00 am – 1:30 pm

Requirements

· Pass a background check and drug test

· Command of the English language, both spoken and written

· High School Diploma or GED
