Tooling Technician

Alexandria, MN - 2nd shift (Monday-Friday, 2:00-10:00pm)

A Tooling Technician is an entry level position is responsible for assisting in building jigs, fixtures, die sets and specialized machines to meet customer print and quality specifications. This position will also be working with other departments on other projects and specialized cells. This person needs to be self-sufficient in cad/cam softwares.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

+ High school diploma or equivalent degree + Associates degree in Machine Tool Technology or related program

+ Tool making, setup cnc machines, cnc machining experience preferred.

+ Strong computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) + Recognize and take action on safety concerns + Effectively work in a team environment + Utilize the proper inspection equipment + Strong written and verbal communication skills + Strong coordination and judgment skills + Advanced math skills + Properly use appropriate measuring tools + Excellent blueprint reading skills with a good understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
