Equipment Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Technician to join our Fleet team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. This role requires a strong technical background and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Competencies

Education/Experience/Licenses

High school diploma or equivalent - required* Minimum 3 years’ experience working on 2 stroke, small engines and landscape equipment. - required* Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record - required* Prior welding experience - preferred* Experience in a broad range of landscape maintenance and construction equipment - preferred*

Physical Requirements

Frequently stand, walk, or crouch on narrow and/or slippery surfaces; stoop, kneel, bend to pick up or move objects; walk for long distances and on sloped ground and uneven surfaces; move, lift, and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds;

Travel Required

No overnight travel is expected. This position is based out of the Gilbert yard.
