Job Purpose
•The CAM Programmer is responsible for producing advanced CAM programs for 3/4/5-axis and multi-task machine tools. The CAM Programmer will work and apply the latest machining techniques. The position will involve working across multifunctional teams to support production growth.
Main Responsibilities
•Produce CAM programs for all levels of machines including, but not limited to, 3/4/5-axis machining centers, turn-mill centers, lathes and milling machines.
•Produce machine simulations and become proficient using other software packages for presentations, projects and training.
•Prepare presentation materials and make presentations for internal and external, as well as, training purposes.
•Work closely with machine operators to ensure optimal machining capabilities.
•Define machining processes, tooling, and parameters for components specific to cutting tools production.
•Develop process capability by developing new or selecting and applying appropriate methods and processes.
•Conduct training for programmers and operators, as required.
•Supports established Engineering targets.

Required Competencies
•Must possess a good understanding of Manufacturing, Modeling, and Drafting modules within CAD/CAM software. High preference to Unigraphics NX12 (or higher version) experience.
•Demonstrated proficiency in CNC machining techniques—including milling, turning, and drilling—with an ability to maximize machine tool capabilities efficiently.
•Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing documentation.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced production environment.
•Effective interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
•Proficient in general computer use, including Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
•Must be a US citizen or authorized to work in USA.
Experience
•Experience in creating and modifying CNC programs for various machines, preferably in a CAM environment.
•Hands-on CNC machining in a manufacturing environment.
•Familiarity with CAM process preparation, tooling/fixture selection, post processing and simulation and optimization for production is a plus.
•Knowledge of CAM-related digital tools (e.g., Vericut, TDM) is a plus.
EDUCATION
•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LICENCES & CERTIFICATES
•Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., GD&T, CAM programming, tooling systems) are a plus.
Other Information
•Domestic/Global travel may be required.
