National Technologies, Inc. (NTI) is looking for a machinist that is interested in learning to be a Toolroom Machinist. We’re a small team that strives to do a good job, every day.

Experience with lathes, mills, CNC EDM Wire and surface grinders are helpful. But if you’ve got the right attitude, we’ll train you. Your reward?

What you need to know about the job

- Full-time. 1st shift.

- 1st shift is 6 AM to 4:30 PM Monday - Thursday occasionally with optional overtime hours available on Fridays.

- No mandatory OT = 3-day weekends!

- $25 - $30 / hr depending on knowledge and experience.

How you’ll contribute to our team

- You will grind and sharpen cutting tools for our shop floor

- You will learn how to provide tooling kits for the jobs

- Operate a variety of machines

- We take pride in the cleanliness, condition, and safety of our building and machines. You’ll join us in keeping the standard by maintaining your work area and equipment and following prescribed safety regulations.

What you’ve done

- You’re familiar with the basic machine functions of some of the machines in our toolroom.

- You have demonstrated a strong work ethic.

- You’re able to read blueprints and can work from drawings and routings.

- You know how to use basic and precision measuring instruments.

- Must be able to lift, bend, and use handheld equipment.

- Must be able to work with lubricants, cutting fluids, and coolants.
