Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Manual Machinist, located in Midland, TX. The Manual Machinist will be responsible for operating and maintaining manual machines, such as lathes, mills, and grinders, to fabricate and repair metal parts. Daily tasks include reading and interpreting blueprints, setting up machines, performing precision measurements, and ensuring parts meet quality standards. The machinist will also be expected to maintain a clean and safe working environment and adhere to all safety protocols.

Qualifications

- Experience operating and maintaining manual machines, such as lathes, mills, and grinders

- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings

- Ability to perform precision measurements using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges

- Strong attention to detail and quality control skills

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in machining is a plus

- Previous experience in the industrial manufacturing or oil and gas industry is preferred
