A Day in the Life: Title Meets Energy
You start your day with a run sheet from the project lead. Your task: research 75 years of mineral title in Doddridge County, WV. You dive into digital and physical records — pulling deeds, leases, wills, and probate files from online portals and courthouse systems.
By noon, you're chain-linking documents, identifying ownership gaps, and calculating net mineral interest. That questionable conveyance from 1986? You flag it for curative review and annotate your run sheet. Throughout the day, you’re collaborating with attorneys, communicating with team leads, and uploading verified packets into the project portal.
By day’s end, you’ve delivered clean, organized, and legally sound title documentation that will directly inform acquisition, leasing, or drilling decisions.
