Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Tig Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding and fabrication, with a strong understanding of various welding techniques and tools. As a Tig Welder, you will be responsible for producing high-quality welds on metal components, ensuring precision and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

•

Perform TIG welding on various materials, including stainless steel and aluminum.

•

Utilize hand tools and machinery such as micrometers and plasma cutters to ensure precise measurements and cuts.

•

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate welding processes.

•

Work with sheet metal and ductwork to fabricate components as required.

•

Operate cranes and rigging equipment safely to move materials during the welding process.

•

Conduct quality inspections of completed welds to ensure they meet industry standards.

•

Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

•

Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity.

Requirements

•

Proven experience as a Tig Welder or similar role in a manufacturing environment.

•

Proficient in various welding techniques including FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) and stick welding.

•

Familiarity with hand tools, measuring instruments (micrometers), and welding equipment.

•

Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.

•

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

•

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

•

Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy materials when necessary.

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
