POSITION SUMMARY:
The Threading Production Lead is responsible for overseeing the threading production line to ensure efficient and high-quality operations. This role involves regular monitoring, maintenance, and support activities to maintain optimal production flow and safety standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Production Line Monitoring:
•Conduct hourly walkthroughs of the production line.
•Validate that all critical quality checks are performed at each workstation.
•Safely start up and shut down production lines.
•Conduct daily GTM meetings.
•Ensure tallies and pipe count are correct.
System Updates and Reporting:
•Review and update the RTP (Real-Time Production) system at the end of each shift.
•Correct any discrepancies in the system.
•Perform job opening and closing reports.
•Review and distribute the daily production schedule.
•Validate the MPS (Master Production Schedule) or product description for accuracy before release.
Maintenance and Support:
•Perform autonomous maintenance on equipment throughout the production line.
•Support down day activities as assigned.
•Create and follow up on maintenance notifications.
•Support SMART RUN orders and requirements.
Safety and Troubleshooting:
•Ensure a safe working environment for the team.
•Troubleshoot and support the production line to keep operations running smoothly.
QUALIFICATIONS:
•Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
•Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•Knowledge of production systems and maintenance procedures.
•Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
REQURIEMENTS:
•High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred.
•Minimum 5 years of experience with QC inspection, CNC Lathes, and production equipment
•Ability to operate a forklift and overhead crane
•Ability to read, write and speak English.
•Should be able to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs. and push/pull 75 lbs.
•Ability to understand and execute instructions well.
