Provides technical construction, maintenance and equipment training to T&D employees, EH&S, C&M Supervisors, C&M Specialists, TSS’s, C&M Management, Engineering/Design, Fleet Techs, and Resource & Project Management.
This position is responsible for oversight of compliance training for employees within T&D organizations. Some to include: line techs, Supervisors, and various other transmission employees. Provides skill assessments of craft performers, and problem resolution for various craft processes. Assists local management in areas such as training audits and assisting in all necessary follow-up to audit findings. Provides technical support, evaluation and feedback to craft performers, contractors, C&M leadership, T&D Standards, T&D Tools and Work Methods, and EHS.
This position must have the ability to plan, determine priorities, and prescribe the processes needed to achieve objectives within the framework of the organization's operating policies.
Responsibilities

- Ensures adherence of compliance and skills training and assists in the implementation of Safety processes. Deliver Technical Training, levels and apprenticeship training programs to craft employees
- Communicate with and coach/train performers on technical issues to assure proper application of standards, policies, and procedures
- Performs individual skills assessments and qualifications to assure continuous individual improvement and efficient execution of T&D C&M processes
- High School/GED AND five (5) years minimum required related experience
- Knowledge and Skills of applicable C&M Discipline / Self Directed
- 7 Years Experience in C&M
- Demonstrated ability diagnosing, analyzing and resolving technical design, construction and operation issues
- Demonstrated ability utilizing safety standards and procedures.
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills with ability to lead others through change.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate groups and presentation/ public speaking skills
- Field Mobility Classification – Work will be performed in various field locations, as needed, after the onboarding period. However, field employees are required to live within a reasonable daily commute to their assigned work location
- Environmental - Outdoors, Field Activity, Various Weather conditions
- Physical - Requires Lifting, climbing poles, elevated work conditions
- Schedule - Call-Out, Outage Response, On-Demand work schedule
- Experience in C&M/Technical Training
