Technical Project Manager – Data Warehouse

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a Data Analytics Team in leading, organizing, and overseeing projects focused on data warehousing, analytics, and system development. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, SDLC knowledge, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, lead, and manage data-focused projects to ensure timely delivery and quality.

- Conduct daily stand-ups, monitor progress, and address roadblocks.

- Communicate with stakeholders on project status and requirements.

- Develop project documentation: roadmaps, status reports, policies, and procedures.

- Support testing phases and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Float between roles such as QA, BI Analyst, and DW Developer when needed.

Required Skills:

- Bachelor's in Project Management, Business, IT, or related field.

- 5+ years’ experience in project management or business analysis.

- Strong understanding of SDLC, data warehousing principles, and data modeling.

- Hands-on experience with Azure SQL, SQL Server scripting.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project).

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong problem-solving and team coordination abilities.

Preferred:

- Experience in Business Intelligence or K–12 education environment.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $70.00 - $80.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
