Bruce Power is seeking to enhance our team through the recruitment of an experienced individual to the role of Human Resources Specialist, Talent Acquisition for a temporary opportunity.
This is a temporary position which may be for a period of up to 24 months, offers a competitive compensation package and is located on-site in Tiverton, Ontario.
The ideal candidate for the Human Resources Specialist, Talent Acquisition role will:

- Own the full recruitment lifecycle—from posting and sourcing to screening, interviewing, and selection—delivering a seamless experience for both internal and external candidates.
- Drive continuous improvement by refining processes and introducing innovative strategies to attract top talent.
- Evaluate applications with precision, ensuring alignment of skills, experience, and organizational fit.
- Champion an exceptional candidate experience, maintaining timely, transparent communication from application through onboarding.
- Support strategic hiring plans and corporate initiatives with a strong focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Lead recruitment in a unionized environment, ensuring compliance with collective agreements and organizational policies.
- Collaborate across teams and stakeholders to align recruitment strategies with workforce planning and business goals.
- Uphold fair and equitable hiring practices, navigating union protocols and eligibility requirements with integrity.
- Contribute to broader HR initiatives and projects as needed.
- Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Human Resources, Business Administration with a focus in Human Resources, or other relevant field of study
- At least 3 years’ experience working within Recruitment
- Experience sourcing and engaging talent using LinkedIn and other social media channels
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, ensuring every candidate and managers enjoy a positive experience.
- Demonstrated success in sourcing external talent for critical roles.
- Experience recruiting in a unionized work environment considered an asset
- Previous experience with Workday considered an asset
