System Test Engineering Intern Summer 2026

As a System Test Engineering intern, you will work with a team of engineers to support test procedures, testing, and test reports that validate I&C systems. You will also help develop and improve test methods, systems and tools related to testing, system verification and validation, and quality assurance. While supporting the test team you will identify hardware, design, and software issues and complete troubleshooting on an integrated I&C system.

You will report to the System Testing Manager and be located at our Warrendale facility. This is a paid full-time onsite summer position.

- Support prototype testing for new PCB designs

- Support development of test tools used for testing Instrumentation and Control systems for new plant and upgrade projects

- Support creation of documentation for test activities

- Support resolution of technical issues after performing troubleshooting

- Support development of test procedures and other test documentation

Qualifications:

- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering

- Minimum GPA of 3.0

- Completed Sophomore year of college

- No relocation assistance provided

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The hourly rate for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $22.69 to $27.50 per hour.
