About Us:

Centro Resources, LLC is a nationwide surveying and engineering support firm committed to high-quality field data collection and professional integrity. We are currently seeking a Survey Party Chief to join our team in Florence, Alabama. While we operate nationally, this position is focused on local field operations with occasional travel as needed.

Job Description:

The Survey Party Chief will lead and assist in various surveying activities including boundary, topographic, and ALTA surveys. You will work closely with field crews, project managers, and CAD staff to ensure accurate and timely deliverables. This role requires a motivated leader who can manage on-site tasks while upholding safety standards and workflow procedures.

Responsibilities:

•

Perform and oversee boundary, topographic, and ALTA/NSPS surveys.

•

Participate in construction stakeout and other specialty survey tasks as needed.

•

Operate and manage data collection with Trimble GPS, Leica terrestrial scanners, and DJI RTK drones.

•

Understand and follow company workflows and ensure project deliverables meet contract requirements and deadlines.

•

Maintain safety compliance on all job sites.

•

Serve as a company representative at client meetings when requested.

Qualifications:

•

Minimum 1 year of experience in land surveying (2+ years preferred).

•

Proficiency in field procedures and survey equipment.

•

Experience with Trimble GPS systems strongly preferred.

•

Familiarity with Leica scanners and DJI RTK drones is a plus.

•

Working knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D or equivalent CAD platforms preferred.

•

Ability to reliably commute or relocate to Florence, AL before starting work.

•

Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
