Job Title: Supply Coordinator

Job Summary This position will manage the daily supply of materials in the packaging areas to support planned production activities. This position will partner with the Ga Region Packaging team and other cross functional areas as needed.
Essential Functions
•Responsible for the accurate transfer of used components (supplies) from assigned production area to proper warehouse locations.
•Responsible for comparing system on hand quantity to production locations physical quantity and making any and all necessary manufacturing scrap adjustments positive or negative needed to maintain accurate inventory.
•Responsible for using the upcoming 30-hour production schedule and moving supply components into the staging areas for consumption by the packaging area.
•Responsible to report out to senior leadership any potential shortfalls of components that could impact that 30-hour production plan.
•Responsible for performing cycle counting in assigned areas on a monthly basis or as dictated throughout the month from time to time and possible daily if the need presents itself.
•Will be responsible to assist Supply Supervisor to reconcile any variances in areas of supply ownership (Packaging and Warehouse dedicated locations) including reviewing all transaction in the system to maintain an accurate inventory at all times.
•Work as a team with the Supply Receiving person as time permits to ensure supplies are received correctly into the warehouse supply dedicated locations.
•Cross train with Supply Receiving person to support personnel shortages due to vacations and other events that have a potential business impact.
•Review BOM’s for accuracy to ensure proper components are decrementing correctly as required particularly on new items being produced.
•Responsible to keep supply package staging areas consolidated with all like components together as well as the warehouse locations consolidated when returning materials to the warehouse locations(example: all caps together).
•All other duties assigned.
•Using scheduled plan, load shuttles for upcoming tomorrow production items and coordinate sending to the appropriate dock at the plant
•Unload and put away all return materials coming back to Firedex from the plant
•Receive supplies at Firedex
Qualifications:
•High School diploma or GED.
•Previous Warehouse experience a plus.
•Forklift Certification Required.
•Good Communication Skills to support Packaging Team and Material Planners and report out on supply shortages
•Computer skills and knowledge of data entry in JDE and RF Smart
•Ability to troubleshoot, recognize and reconcile inventory variances as needed to maintain accurate inventory levels.
