Inventory Coordinator
Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and organized Inventory Coordinator to join our operations team. This position plays a vital role in the daily functions of our warehouse and yard by managing the storage, organization, and documentation of materials and equipment used in oil and gas operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, experience working in industrial environments, and the ability to accurately maintain inventory records using spreadsheets or warehouse databases.
Responsibilities:
•Receive and inspect incoming materials and equipment to verify accuracy and condition
•Properly tag, label, and store materials in designated warehouse or yard locations
•Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment in all storage and work areas
•Prepare and stage materials for field deployment and outgoing shipments
•Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment (training may be provided)
•Accurately track and update material inventory using spreadsheets or inventory management systems
•Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile any variances
•Monitor stock levels and alert supervisors when inventory is low or restocking is required
•Ensure all items are correctly labeled and documented
•Maintain accurate records of material receipts and issuances
•Generate and submit daily, weekly, or monthly reports on inventory and yard activities as needed
•Ensure all documentation complies with company policies and procedures
•Adhere to all safety procedures for handling, storing, and moving materials
•Actively participate in safety meetings and immediately report any hazards or incidents
•Consistently adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, promoting a safety-first culture
•Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by Manager
Requirements:
•High school diploma or GED required
•Previous experience in warehouse, yard, or inventory roles, preferably in oil and gas or industrial sectors
•Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel or inventory management software
•Ability to consistently lift up to 50 lbs
•Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
•Comfortable working in outdoor environments in variable conditions
•Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Work Environment:
•Field-based role with possible travel to production and compression sites
•Ability to consistently list and carry items of 50lbs or more
•Requires physical outdoor activity including climbing, lifting, and working in varied weather conditions
