Job Description:

The Supply Chain Supervisor is a well-rounded supply chain leader responsible for the development and execution of the mine site's sourcing, procurement, inventory, and contract strategies. This position leads end-to-end supply chain activities and ensures alignment with operational goals, cost-efficiency targets, and business continuity objectives.

- This role demands a strong background across all core areas of supply chain management, including:

- Procurement and Sourcing Management

- Integrated Demand Planning (IDP)

- Inventory and Warehouse Management

- Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM)

The ideal candidate thrives in highly volatile environments, adapts quickly to changing priorities, and has a track record of delivering process improvement and operational efficiency. Experience with SAP is required; Midas experience is a bonus.

Day to Day:

- Support in the development and lead execution of the site’s comprehensive supply chain strategy, encompassing procurement, sourcing, inventory management, integrated demand planning (IDP), and contract lifecycle management (CLM).

- Identify, evaluate, and develop supplier relationships across all categories to ensure reliable and cost-effective supply.

- Negotiating contracts and commercial terms that optimize total cost of ownership (TCO), mitigate risks, and align with operational priorities.

- Supervise the full Contract Lifecycle Management process from initiation through renewal, ensuring compliance, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement.

- Oversee material & inventory management and warehouse operations to maintain material availability, accuracy, and optimal working capital utilization.

- Drive Integrated Demand Planning (IDP) initiatives to synchronize supply with operational forecasts, budgets, and maintenance schedules—leveraging experience in mobile and process maintenance to minimize expedited purchases and excess inventory.

- Champion and implement process improvement initiatives across all supply chain functions to enhance efficiency, transparency, and service levels.

- Provide training, guidance, and support to end-users and suppliers; build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with internal teams and external partners.

- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), report on total cost of ownership (TCO) savings, and ensure alignment with corporate and site-level objectives.

- Support, directly or indirectly, transactional procurement activities including the creation and management of Service Orders, Requests for Quotes (RFQs), and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and any other transactional activities to effectively meet business requirements.

- Provide monthly reporting to management on key performance indicators (KPIs), cost savings, successes, and challenges, with direct updates to the CCV Supply Chain Manager.

- Support and or lead additional initiatives and projects as assigned by the CCV Supply Chain Manager.

Is This You?

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Accounting, Engineering, or related field — or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- 7+ years of progressive supply chain leadership experience, with expertise spanning procurement, sourcing, inventory and warehouse management, integrated demand planning (IDP), and contract lifecycle management (CLM).

- Proven success supporting field operations in Mining, Oil & Gas, and Construction, effectively navigating volatile environments and shifting operational priorities.

- Skilled in SAP or equivalent enterprise systems; experience with Midas is a bonus.

- Led procurement and sourcing teams to deliver cost savings and optimize Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) through strategic supplier negotiations, category management, and process improvement, boosting efficiency and team performance.

- Implemented Integrated Demand Planning (IDP) strategies that aligned supply with maintenance schedules, optimized inventory levels, minimized expedited purchases, and reduced working capital, thereby lowering Toal Cost of Ownership (TCO).

- Streamlined Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) processes, reducing contract cycle times, enhancing compliance, and improving supplier accountability and renewal visibility to support cost-effective sourcing.

- Managed competitive RFP processes to secure high-performing suppliers with favorable contract terms—shortening procurement cycles and driving measurable reductions in TCO.

- Strong leadership, influence, and stakeholder management skills.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data and drive strategy.

- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

- Comfortable managing cross-functional teams and initiatives with minimal direction.

Working Conditions & Location:

- Role is based at the Cripple Creek & Victor Mine, located in Teller County, Colorado.

- Ability to work at high altitude and adapt to field-based work environments.

- Flexibility to modify work schedules to align with operational demands.

- As this is a leadership position, onsite presence is required.

- Occasional domestic and international travel may be required.

The summary provided is a basic outline of duties for the Supply Chain Supervisor and is not all-inclusive. For applicants residing in CO, the salary rate starts at $90,000 to $118,000. Benefits: 401(k); medical/dental/vision insurance; employee share purchase plan, PTO, and STI.
