The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the production floor to ensure that manufacturing goals, quality standards, and safety protocols are met. This role involves managing a team of production workers, maintaining workflow efficiency, and working closely with other departments such as quality, maintenance, and logistics.
Supervise and lead a team of production workers to meet daily, weekly, and monthly output goals.
Plan, schedule, and assign work to ensure optimal production efficiency.
Monitor production processes and adjust schedules or resources as needed.
Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Train, coach, and evaluate team members to improve performance and support professional development.
Maintain accurate production records, reports, and shift handovers.
Identify and resolve operational, personnel, or quality issues promptly.
Collaborate with maintenance, quality control, and logistics teams to optimize workflow.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing or similar methodologies.
High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
3+ years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of production machinery, tools, and safety standards.
Proficient with production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing priorities.
