The Commercial organization works to effectively leverage assets and market knowledge to create additional value within the risk parameters of the Company. We do this by maximizing general interest profitability, enhancing return on capital employed by successfully partnering with the Refining, Transportation and Marketing functions to ensure Value Chain Integration. Our truck and rail fleets support our feedstock and distribution operations. Rail movements are provided via a fleet of more than 10,000 owned and leased rail cars. Truck movements are provided through numerous third-party trucking companies, as well as through our 100 percent-owned subsidiary, Sentinel Transportation LLC.
Responsibilities May Include:
Lead and supervise a team of schedulers responsible for logistics associated with US Supply and Trading activity for Natural Gas.
Manage and execute required scheduling responsibilities in support of the business.
Ensure daily nominations via pipeline EBBs for various U.S. pipelines.
Reconcile storage activity and manage OBAs and balancing agreements, ensuring accurate tracking of storage imbalances.
Monitor intraday cuts and restrictions and communicate impacts to the trading desk in real time.
Ensure all operational costs (e.g., fuel, imbalance, transport) are tracked and reported correctly.
Optimize workflow across the team to manage changing business needs.
Establish goals that challenge and develop the scheduling team.
Provide continuous coaching and talent enhancement.
Manage team vacation and weekend coverage plan.
Foster strong internal and external counterparty relationships in support of operations.
Distinguish Phillips 66 as an industry leader in integrity and professionalism.
Lead scheduling resources and system operation to maximize value with consideration to operational risk.
Required Qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
Bachelor's Degree
8+ or more years of experience in Natural Gas Industry with experience in Logistics, Trading, or Risk Management
5+ years of Supervisory Experience
Preferred Qualifications:
5 or more years of scheduling experience
Experience with key Natural Gas Pipeline systems
Proficient with Natural Gas ETRM and Risk Management systems
Ability to identify and solve process inefficiencies and sustain efficient work practices
Demonstrated analytical & problem-solving skills to drive value-added, business-focused decisions
Proven leadership skills with the capability of influencing others to achieve desired results and common goals
Self-starter showing initiative, thinking outside the box, generating ideas, and driving improvements
Dedication to achieving team goals, increasing general interest value to the company, and supporting internal and external customers
Adaptable to changing work environments and make continuous improvements
The ability to set, manage, and meet multiple and competing priorities is a critical skill for this position
