Supervisor, Information Security will focus on supervising/overseeing information
security for Corporate/Non-Regulatory systems, with occasional involvement in
Operational Technology (OT) security. Key responsibilities include the following:
Responsible for user access to corporate software applications. Develop and
maintain security standards and guidelines. Conduct cybersecurity risk
assessments for internal, purchased, and cloud/vendor-hosted applications.
Perform penetration testing and develop automation tools. Monitor systems for
security threats and collaborate with IT teams to resolve issues. Ensure
applications comply with data security standards. Update data security
documentation. Research security aspects of new technologies and applications
for organizational benefit. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Conduct cybersecurity risk
assessments for all developed or purchased software, whether or not supported
by IS Division Charters—including systems hosted in the MLGW Data Center,
endpoint-installed software, and all externally hosted solutions such as SaaS,
IaaS, PaaS, and vendor-hosted applications and infrastructure. Supervise and
monitor user access for corporate-managed software systems and applications.
Conduct and review all software penetration tests performed by internal or
external parties. Review and maintain MLGW’s Corporate Data Security
Standards documentation. Review and update Cyber Security requirements for
all software used by MLGW personnel, whether residing within MLGW's Data
Centers or in a Cloud or other hosted environment. Support IT teams in
monitoring MLGW's network and Microsoft Cloud environments for unusual
security-related activities. Review and approve all MLGW data proposed for use
in AI/Machine Learning environments, both within and outside MLGW’s network.
Must have a valid drivers license from the state of residence.
EDUCATION Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology,
Information Systems, Cyber Security, or a related degree is required.
EXPERIENCE Must have 4 years of professional-level experience in Information Technology
compliance or Cyber Security. Must have 2 years of leadership experience.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Must participate in the Supervisor Assessment Center within three months of the
date of hire. Must successfully complete NIMS training within one year of
entering the job. Working Conditions: Works primarily inside but will occasionally
be required to visit other MLGW facilities that may involve standing, walking,
lifting, pushing, pulling, and observing in both inside and outside situations.
Additional knowledge or experience in the following areas is an advantage: database, web development, penetration testing, red/blue/purple team experience, network security, cyber vulnerability assessments,.data architecture, and system architecture.
