As an Accounts Payable Supervisor
, you'll be a vital leader for our AP team, providing guidance and expertise to the AP Accountants answering complex internal and external inquiries and providing guidance to users navigating our AP Invoice system. A key part of your role will involve collaborating cross-functionally with various teams to proactively resolve issues, streamline workflows, and ensure the most efficient AP operations. You'll also oversee the utilization of our fully automated invoice processing system, emphasizing data accuracy and integrity across all transactions.
We're looking for someone with at least 3-5 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a related financial role, demonstrating strong leadership skills and complex problem-solving. This position currently offers a hybrid work schedule, blending remote work with in-office collaboration.
Supervise and direct employees in activities related to Accounting, HR Accounting, Property Accounting, Billing Control, Tax, Accounts Payable, Credit Cards and Financial Reporting
Oversee, direct and perform duties related to the preparation of information and reports which may include:
Provide guidance and direction relative Accounting, HR Accounting, Property Accounting, Billing Control, Tax, Accounts Payable, Credit Cards, and Financial Reporting processes to employees, supervisors, management, industry peers and others.
Perform calculations, review, analyze, interpret and/or monitor information and reports including:
Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.
Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, Finance, other related field or an equivalent combination of formal education and the following job-related experience
Thorough knowledge, experience administering and interpreting of policies and procedures related to accounting methods, practices, procedures, budgeting, payroll and/or tax.
Experience in use and function of tools and equipment applicable to position including using computer applications such as Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint.
Experience training, directing, and supervising; demonstrated ability to apply personnel policies and procedures.
Experience reading and interpreting manuals, reports, budgets, governmental rules, and regulations. Contracts, correspondence, and account information.
Experience researching, composing, and preparing reports, budgets, financial information, and correspondence.
Experience leading, directing, and/or supervising; interacting, advising, training, and communicating effectively.
Experience developing information and making presentations to groups and individuals.
Mobility to travel in and around plant and office facilities and around job sites out-of-doors.
Communicate and exchange verbal and written information and instructions; conduct oral presentations.
Requires travel to other company offices and facilities and to job sites.
