Summer Water Laborer

The Littleton Water Department will be hiring a summer laborer to assist licensed water operators with the routine operation & maintenance of water system infrastructure. Depending on the applicant’s abilities and interests, this may include assisting with the maintenance & operation of specialized equipment (after receiving training), as well as independently conducting non-specialized maintenance activities.

Potential duties include

The position requires a valid Class D Massachusetts Driver’s license, the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical, and a genuine interest in learning about water utility operations. The position is for 40 hours per week, 6:30 – 4:30, Monday through Thursday. Dates of employment are flexible but anticipated to be up to 10 weeks between early July and late August/early September. Pay rate is $20 per hour.
