Join our dynamic Grid Integration team as a Substation Engineer! How You'll Make an Impact

•

Develop new solutions for complex projects and challenges.

•

Drive completion of all engineering activities on projects.

•

Coordinate mechanical engineering discipline across several projects.

•

Provide technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities.

•

Create work plans and cost estimates, ensuring quality deliverables.

•

Interact directly with customers, officials, contractors, and supply chains.

•

Ensure adherence to safety standards and mitigate potential risks

•

Prepare manufacturing documents for control and protection cubicles.

Your Background

•

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical/Electrical Engineeringng.3-5 years of relevant experience.

•

In-depth knowledge of the National Electric Code and ANSI/IEEE requirement.

•

Experience in plant design, specifically with HV transmission substation solutions.

•

Proficiency in BIM / Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and Revit – 3D Modeling.

•

Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in Canada.

•

Candidate must be fluent in both French and English
