Department Description:
The Internal Audit Department provides independent, professional audit coverage of ISO New England’s business and information technology processes. The team evaluates internal controls, governance, and risk management processes while performing company-wide risk assessments. Their work helps ensure that ISO operates efficiently, effectively, and in compliance with policies and regulations.
What You’ll be Working On:As an Internal Auditor Intern, you will:
- Assist with internal audit fieldwork, including testing and evaluation of processes.
- Support SSAE-18 engagement testing and SOC-1 report review.
- Prepare audit workpapers to support internal audit opinions.
- Perform administrative tasks such as following up on outstanding audit issues.
- Work under the guidance of the Audit Manager, Principal Auditor, and Director of Internal Audit.

You'll help ensure the company's operations are efficient, compliant, and risk aware. Your work will provide valuable insights that support better decision making, strengthen controls, and drive organizational excellence all while gaining experience in auditing analysis and business operations.
What We Look for in a Candidate:
- Completion of at least three years of college in auditing, accounting, or business administration.
- Minimum GPA of 3.2.
- Strong knowledge and experience with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and communication skills.
