Intern, Internal Audit

Spring/Summer 2026 Interns needed.

Intern: 20 hours a week until graduation

Students must be a part of the school's Co-op/Intern Program with a 2.7 GPA. This position is not remote and there is no PTO or WFH offered. Please submit an Unofficial Transcript along with a Resume when applying.

The Internal Auditor Intern will support the Internal Audit team in evaluating the effectiveness of the organization's internal controls, risk management processes, and compliance with policies and regulations. This role involves assisting in audit planning, performing fieldwork, analyzing data, and preparing documentation to ensure accurate and reliable reporting. The intern will gain hands-on experience in auditing practices, exposure to various business operations, and the opportunity to contribute to recommendations that enhance efficiency and strengthen controls.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in conducting financial, operational, and compliance audits.

- Perform testing of controls and document findings.

- Analyze data and identify potential risks or process improvements.

- Prepare work papers and support audit reports.

- Collaborate with team members to develop recommendations for improving business processes and controls.

- Support special projects and ad hoc requests as needed.

Applicants should have strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Must be able to work independently and as part of the team. The candidate should be detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
