Role Description

1. Prepare the design and analysis of structural systems for assigned projects.

2. Coordinates structural design with architectural documentation and other engineering disciplines.

3. Assists Project Manager as necessary in the preparation of design, analysis and detailing on assigned projects.

4. Assists in or conducts field investigations.

5. Review contractors required submittals for compliance with contract documents.

6. Prepares design sketches for final documentation.

7. Assists in CAD/Revit® drafting of plans and details.

8. Assist with writing project specifications.

9. Prepares comprehensive technical reports.

10. Functions as Project Manager as assigned.

11. Establishes and maintains an effective professional relationship with associates, clients, vendors, consultants, and contractors.

Qualifications

Sound computer skills, including structural analysis and design software, word processing, and spreadsheet software. AutoCAD® and Revit ® literate.
