This role offers the opportunity to join our corporate strategic projects team as a key contributor. You'll work on diverse projects that focus on solving business challenges and improving operations across various areas of the company, including renewable energy and corporate support functions. Our strategic projects group operates as an internal consulting team, partnering with leadership to identify opportunities, conduct research, and develop solutions.
As an intern, you'll gain exposure to strategy work and have the chance to develop consulting-style skills while supporting internal teams and external partners throughout project lifecycles.
- Supporting business units with research, data collection, and basic analysis
- Learning to conduct analysis and modeling to better understand business opportunities
- Supports process improvement initiatives for business enhancement
- Assists business units with research, data collection, and analysis activities
- Helps prepare and present findings through PowerPoint to team members and business leaders
- Completes other project-related tasks as assigned
- Curiosity and enthusiasm for problem-solving and learning
- Collaborative mindset with willingness to take initiative
- Adaptability in dynamic, fast-moving environments
- Interest in developing proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
- Preference for students majoring in Finance, Engineering, Data Analytics, Mathematics.
- High school grad / GED
- Maintain active enrollment in a Bachelor or higher degree program
- Maintain cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
To be considered for an internship, you must be actively enrolled at a college or university as a full-time student seeking a bachelor’s degree or higher. You must also have a current cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher (on a 0.00 to 4.00 scale).
- Assists department with assigned projects
- Completes challenging projects and assignments
- Presents final project to senior leadership at the end of the internship
- Assumes responsibility for own travel, lodging, and transportation necessary to be available for the program
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
