About This Job

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Stoneworker to join our team. A Stoneworker is responsible for the polishing and installation of quartz, granite, and marble countertops. They are also responsible for the maintenance and operation of a CNC waterjet.

Duties

•

Work with Lead Stoneworkers to move, cut, polish, and install quartz, granite, and other stone countertops.

•

Operate the waterjet with provided code from Lead Stoneworkers. Develop skills to create code from the 3D Laser tools to run on the waterjet without supervision.

•

Inspect the quality of final products before loading and installing into customer homes.

•

Ensure that the correct tools for the job are brought to each jobsite to avoid multiple trips to the shop.

•

Use scope of project provided by Project Managers to ensure all aspects of jobs are completed before installation.

•

Template using the 3D Laser tools to accurately measure jobsites for countertops.

•

Maintain the cleanliness of the stone bay and stone yard. Receive stone deliveries and clean out old stock when necessary to make room for new stone deliveries.

•

Perform all job duties with efficiency and accuracy.

•

Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills

•

High school degree or GED required, trade school certificate or field experience preferred.

•

Familiarity with stoneworking machinery, tools, and techniques.

•

Basic math skills, using tape measure, speed square, reading and comprehending instructions and dimensions.

•

Self-initiating person who can prioritize and possesses good problem-solving skills.

•

Able to understand verbal and written instructions and envision all steps in assigned tasks.

•

Possess time and stress management skills. Composed under multiple demands.

•

Valid driver’s license.

•

Ability to lift to 100lbs and perform a variety of physically demanding activities.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
